    My first post!

Our school won 5 tablet Pc's and projectors. Problem is, when the projectors are hooked up, you can see the tablets wallpapaer, but not the icons or start menu, making them usable. It does, however, work in safe mode. Have tried all resolutions in "regular" mode, can't make it work. Disabled all startup items, restarted, still no go. Anyone seen this and know the problem?

    tablet is running XP. TIA.

    Mac,

Just for grins, try moving some icons to the center of the screen. It sounds to me like you are only displaying the center portion of the desktop via the projectors.

    Howdy folks...

    maccampbells...

What type of projector are you using ?

I remember right, on some of the NEC's there was a zoom function, that if used would do what you are describing...

 in the settings, you might not be using dual output (same picture to the projector & the screen), instead you might have it set to 'dual desktop/extended desktop' or a setting that sounds similar. you need to put it to either the dual output or the external output.

    HTH,

was the "Q" button on the tablet. Here you can select "internal monitor (this is the tablet's screen), external monitor, or both. Thanks for the responses!
