I have a HP touch smart desktop model: 310-1033 and a netgear router g54. I accidentally pressed the rest button on the router, which now disconnected my Internet. I have time Warner Internet with the modem. I was just going to plug the Ethernet cable into the modem -router - computer, but failed to realize my computer does not have an Ethernet port (weird?!). I am far from tech Savy and this is my only computer. Please help!

According to the product description page on the H-P web site, there is an Ethernet port between the audio output jack and the USB ports on the back of the computer.

You may need an Ethernet connection from a computer to the router to get the router set up.

EDIT: Corrected URL in link. Also, hi and welcome to TSG.
