One of our users has a work manual that was created In Word 2003 and saved as an HTML document, the manual contains TOC's and links to many PDF and Word Docs.
We recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007 and since that time the user is having issues modifying the document.
She opens the HTML Manual which opens in IE and then from the File menu chooses Edit with MS Word. She needs to use the Ctrl+Click to navigate the links in the TOC. The links in the TOC often link to other TOC's she can only get about two or three into the TOC's and then she gets a Microsoft Office Word Error:
Microsoft Office Word has encountered a problem and needs to close.....
Then it allows to send an error report or not.

This is keeping her from updating her manual. I have tried this on several machines and the same error occurs.

I do have one machine in the building that still has Office 2003 on it and she is able to do everything she needs with the manual on this machine.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be and how to resolve this issue?
