Hub or router?

    Should i get a hub or router? I want to hook up 2 comps and my xbox...and how much r they cause i don't have a lot of money?

    i would say go for a router... u can get them rather cheap.. ill wait for LwdSquashman the "router pimp" to fill ya in on the prices :)

    Router. Then you get another firewall with the deal. They start in the $50 to $70 range and often better deals are available with vendor rebates, close-outs, etc. I have a wired/wireless NetGear that cost about $65.

    I'd check with Gotrootdude,; he is always coming up with deals. Also, look here

    If you want Internet sharing, the router is the clear choice. I recently bought the wireless router I'm using for $15 after rebates, it's a D-Link DI-614+. If there is no Internet sharing involved, the switch is all you need, and a router would do you no good.

    Alright...now i have to save money for one...

    Thanks bill...but which one? The blue version, or the php nuke one i jus changed to...which i am trying to figure out how to set it up right...
