How to I ensure that the hypertransport feature on my MB is enabled? Is there a way to check within the Windows XP environment? On bootup I cannot see anything as the motherboards bootup screen hides all of the memory information... plus it pops up so quickly.

It says ' 16 bit / 1000MHz'. Is that normal for an nvidia4 chipset (Asus A8n-e board) with 1 GB of DDR400 RAM? Shouldn't it be higher? I do have amd cool n' quiet activated.

This is normal. 1000mhz is the base. Since it is DDR(double data rate) it is effectively 2000mhz. So your hypertransport is running full speed.
