I have a major problem that needs to be addressed and solved, thanks for your time. I am in no way computer savvy, although I have learned quite a bit over the last few months. I just can't access files on my computer that have been created by "not me" says all! Unfortunately, what I have figured out is that my entire computer system has been changed! i have files and folders that say "my videos", my pics, web cam "stuff", what seems to me as though there was no doubt there being remote computers involved! Many chat files, again I can't access them. There are many files saying "domain names" and "web sites" created from "my computer", not downloaded, and i can't find the addresses for these sites, I do not have permission or no programs I've tried can open them! I have teenagers, i am really concerned, 99% of what I have found only led me to very graphic porn sites! I have not been able to actually see anyone I know on these sites, yet I'm shooting "craps", the leads I get from the files only get me to a "main" site, then to browse the 367,000 photos to see if my children (or) are actually on them is impossible without knowing the user names and domain or web addresses, as well as the passwords! I have to know, can you help me "hack" my own computer, or whatever it may take???

    welcome to T.S.G. :)

a few things you need to do and places to go:

    http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/
download "startuplist" unzip and run the program,copy/paste the resulting text file here.

    www.moosoft.com
download "the cleaner",install click update and download the latest update file....then hit the options tab/scanning and make sure "scan inside compessed folders" and "search for hidden executables" are both checked.now hit the "scan" button and if it finds anything have it clean the problem.
let us know what it finds.

    http://beam.to/spybotsd
download "spybot s&d" ,install, hit the "online" tab and check for updates.......then click the "check all" button.anything it find checked and highlighted in RED select fix problem.
