    Hello
I need good quality software icons. Icons must be in 32px x 32px format. I have found one: filehippo.com but there are not all interesting for me programs. Does somebody know any like this page ?
    Regards

    Some icons and such on
    http://www.deviantart.com/

I think. Never saw the point of custom icons as I'm on a few different machines in an average day.

I'm confused. What is it exactly you are looking for? Just some snazzy looking icons for your desktop or something else?

What do you mean by "original software icons"

I will explain better. I am looking for software icons like, for example these ones: http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=gx1d5j_0. I would like to get the best quality. I would like to get 'original' look like icons and not invented by some persons.

All icons are invented by someone.

    Here are some. http://forum.deviantart.com/galleries/icons/1127342/

If you right click on a program on your desktop and click properties you can change the icon to another that the program provides or to one of the ones windows provides in the system32 folder. but you probably knew that

just out of curiosity, you say you want the best quality, do you spend that much time looking at you desktop?

Well, better icons look better that worse quality icons.
What do you prefer: TV with resolution 2 pixels x 2 pixels or with 2000 x 2000 ?

You can open an exe or dll file in Irfanview (select all files in 'files of type') and it will allow you to look though the icons (and save if you like).

    http://www.irfanview.com/

If it's software that runs on Vista, you can get icons up to 256x256 px.

Be aware that the use of these icons would be subject to copyright and the EULA.
