I cant even get my desktop pc into safemode.
after I did a nondestuctive system recovery all it does is boot until I get
    this error...
lsass.exe...then it reads..WHILE TRYING TO UPDATE PASSWORD THE RETURN STATUS
    INDICATES
THAT THE VALUE PROVIDED AS THE CURRENT PASSWORD IS NOT CORRECT..
I can get to BIOS(F1) and I tried settings so the password is off but that
    didnt work...
I can get to system recovery by(F10)but I tried 3 times nondestructive but
    to no avail..
It just reads'c_20127.nls' ON WINDOWS HOME EDITION CDROM....
    'COPY FILES FROM C:\sysprep\i386

It didnt come w/the system I got from HP (pavillion7965) windows xp home is
    the OS....
Is there any way to get it working w/out losing my pictures songs ect...
I dont want to do a system recovery that loses everything...
It wont even go into SAFEMODE or anythiny from safemode page(F8)..
any help for a ARMY VETERAN in WI. would greatly be appreciated..
I got a cdrom coming that may help.. pctools pro,an IT type cd supposed to fix
    many problems
maybe mine too but what do you people out there have that I can try in the
    mean time??
I like working on my desktop better than this NOTEBOOK (at home)any way...
