I am put on a Temporary Profile

Hi, I bought my laptop about 2 years ago and have never had any problems with it. It is a Toshiba Equium L40-10Z, and uses windows vista.

For about a month now it randomly closes Internet explorer and says that it has "stopped working". However this wasn't very frequently.

2 days ago I turned my laptop on and tried to log into my profile and entered my password as usual. The welcome page stayed on for about a minute instead of the usual 5-10 seconds, and then the page changed to say that it was "setting up my desktop" or something very similar to this. This then stayed on for about another minute or so. When it finally loaded up it was put on a "temporary profile" with only a few of my usual programs showing on my desktop. A pop up in the bottom corner told me that I could not be logged into my profile and so I was put on a temporary profile and that any changes that I made would not be saved.

I can still use my laptop for things such as accessing the internet however I cannot access any of my files, many of which have important college work in.

I have downloaded music from the internet from sites such as myspace and thisis50, but I regualarly run scans using norton anti virus, and there is only ever 1 tracking cookie that has been there all the time, that has a low risk warning.

I have never done anything like this before but I searched for help and found the HijackThis tool, I have ran the scan and saved the "log" and I think I have attached it. If I have not done something right please let me know and I will try to rectify it.

If you could help me to be able to access my User profile again it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
