Hi all I have a windows 8 64bit and I am having problems bypassing log in/sign in. I tired doing Run box put in netplwiz then unchecking the box above in the box to not sign in. Then when the login box popped up I just put ok. I did that several times and it still wont by pass login at the start.

    I am frustrated. Help!

    Thanks!

You must use a user name when ever using Windows 8, there is NO way of bypassing this.
The system needs a user name to know where to save all of the data and system files related to the user.

Did you ever set up a user name?

    If so use it!

Do you have a single user account with NO password on the machine that that logs in the way you want?

Do you have more than on user defined or a single account with a password on the other machine that will not auto login?

You do need to tell use more about these two machines, make and model would be a good starter?
You system icon lists a Vista and XP machine.

Okay I figured that out but not now both of my computers are changing when I change one computer. Oh I should have never used the same password for both of them.I shut off sync in both of them in hopes to make the two computers have two different passwords and well that is not working they both changed when I changed the password in one. Argh!! HA HA How do I fix this issue??

That's how the Microsoft account works.... your 8.1 computers change to the same Desktop background, too....not just passwords... if you use the OneDrive pc settings

I have a Dell and a Gateway and had set the Dell up with a Microsoft account and got 8.1 months ago, and used the Gateway as windows 8 with a local account (but the same email user name!) then, as soon as I logged in on the Gateway WITH my Microsoft account to GET the Windows 8.1 update for it from the Windows Store the sync went into effect. Does that so you can use, see all your files from either machine.... and all your devices. I was going to try and change one just haven't gotten to it yet.

I remember a warning thing telling about the file and settings syncing.

    here is some info>>> http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/sync-settings-pcs

There is a troubleshooter for adjusting what is synced and you can opt out of it totally......and can change it back. Try what they have to do it.
