my internet works just fine, and i've checked the internet settings over and over again, but alas I cannot reach one of my favorite sites (yes that is myspace.com). all of my friends (whom I spoke to via aim) have told me they are able to get to the site just fine with no problems and yet this is the only site I cannot go to from my computer. it gives me the Cannot find server page.
This is extremely frustrating to not know why I cannot reach this site. I thought it was due to their server and not my internet connection, but wouldn't that mean a mass majority having troubles reaching this site?
    Please help me:)

What browser were you using? I am assuming you only have one browser and it is IE. If so how about downloading firefox and seeing if you can get to the site from there.

Did you check the trusted sites and restricted sites?

I dont know why but a while back i had a site i use at work that i could not access unless i turned off the Norton Security. At the time i did not know how to set it as a trusted site.

Last thought at this point is have you tried a system restore?

Andreae, please follow the steps below:
    1. Go to Start > Run....
    2. Type in cmd. If that doesn't work, try command.
    3. Type in tracert myspace.com.
    4. Please copy the results (right-click, go to Select All, and press Ctrl+C to copy) and paste them back here in your next reply.
This process will let us know where the problem is occuring.

It looks like it is a problem with your ISP...
Do your friends use the same ISP as you?

At the moment it looks to be a temporary problem. Wait it out until tomorrow and report back. :)
