    [IMG] Retype the address.

[IMG] Go back to the previous page.

    Most likely causes:

    • You are not connected to the Internet.
    • The website is encountering problems.
    • There might be a typing error in the address.

IE8 made some changes that caused compatibility issues. That might or might not be your problem. If you post the web sites somebody else can check for compatibility. Maybe they're blocked by parental controls or a company filter?

Again, you will probably need to post the specific web sites that are blocked, not just the type. Perhaps the specific web sites are the ones having problems? I can't help since I'm blocked (by company policy) from the type of web sites you mention so I can't check them out, but if you post the addresses I'm sure somebody here can.

I went to the upper right on search "search my posts"
but it only gave my posts not the replies I got on the forum heading
    " I cannot go certain websites "
yesterday it had two replise but I could not print from that computter, and today I cannot find that reply only the reply from calvin-c
but not the second reply which sounded like the real answer
I think it was about pop up blocker, or something to do with the
    registry key, ( I think so )
    please help me
    thanks

i posted the links to all three of your posts - click on each one of those and you will see the replies

but having three posts here will cause you a lot of confusion as things done on one post will not be reflected in the other posts and then you will not be receiving upto date information from other posters - as your last post here has confirmed , since you are replying here for a answer on a different thread

please answer the questions i posted - and if necessary I will merge all into one post

Reset your IE browser back to default. See if that helps

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset. Also check box that says Delete Personal Settings before hitting Reset. This will ensure that IE8 goes back to the original state.
