I cant delete files in windows 10

    recycle bin says

    Contains the files and folders you have deleted

    But you open the recycle bin, its empty

    so if you delete a file from your local drive, it should go into the recycle bin. If you delete from a network share, it will delete permanently...

    What happens if you delete a file? you can create a dummy file by right clicking on the desktop and click New > Text document.

    I was able to delete the new folder no problem

    still not the older ones

    OK... explain the process you are doing (as in where are you deleting the folders, etc) and what error messages are you getting
