when i want to install the new version of winzip, i click on the exe so i can start installing. then after it's loading i get this message:
"The winzip installation procedure could not proceed because the following window is not responding:
    Window Title: WIN95 Wmsg Window
    Window Class: OlemainThreadWindowClass Ox########"
The thing that i don't get is that i'm using a Win98 and it wants to find something about a Win95 Wmsg Window.
Is this a virus? or am i missing a file?
    Thnx to any help.

    Lets see whats going on....
My advice is go to housecalls & run the free online virus scanner.

(If you need one) a free virus scanner you can add to your system... go get AVG. Click here to download AVG

and to protect yourself from hackers etc... Get Zone Alarm
Click here the free version is fine

then there is spyware .spyware causes all kinds of problems.. go get Ad-Aware

    Reboot when done then .........
Post back & let us know if it helped

Have a look at what's runing in the background. Press CTRL +ALT+DEL and end task everything but Systray and Explorer (that's Windows Explorer) Then try again.

Go to Start>run and type msconfig. Press enter.
Look at the startup group. What do you have loading?

Here's a link to help you prune that list.

Next stop is to download and run adaware to see if you have any Spyware aboard. Be very careful here. Make a backup in case you meed to restore:
