Hello,

I have a problem with my Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560A. I used to have the DS04 driver on it, then I wanted to upgrade it, but by mistake I installed the wrong firmware driver. I installed a D803 driver for Lenovo. Now, I want to install the DS06 update, but I cant do it using the program from the Sony support page. Also, I tried uninstalling the D803 driver, but any time I run the DS06 update it gives me a message that the DVD RW is not detected.

So, what's the best way to install the DS06 driver?

My computer is a Sony Vaio VGN-NR220E with Windows 7.

Thanks

Is there a particular reason that you needed to update the firmware on your Drive? Is the drive still working?
