I am trying to watch a youtube video on firefox. It says that I don't have javascript enabled or I didn't update my flash player. I updated my flash player, and it didn't help. I tried turning javascript on and off with a firefox restart. I tried watching a youtube video on opera and it works fine, so I know that my flash player isn't the problem. Does anyone have an idea to help me?

    Thanks

Do you have any extensions installed in Firefox? If you do, disable them and see if that solves the problem. If it does, one of your extensions is probably interfering.

    Peace...

You didn't post what you did. :)
    1. Do you have any Firefox extensions installed?
    2. Did you disable them all and then try to view the YouTube video?
    3. If you do have Firefox extensions installed, which extensions do you have installed?

    Peace...

Thanks. Can you try starting Firefox in "safe mode" and see if you still have the problem? In the Mozilla Firefox program group, there should be an icon with "safe mode" in the title. Use that icon to start Firefox in safe mode and see what happens.

Also, can you post a link to a YouTube video you can't view?

    Peace...

What the heck????? It works now. I tried booting it in safe mode and it worked so I thought that it was an extension. Then I tried youtube in my normal firefox browser, and it worked! Anyways, thanks for your help. I don't know what was wrong.

Thanks for your help, but the problem has been figured out on its own.

Could you mark the thread as "solved" so everyone knows the problem is fixed? If you use the "Thread tools" menu above the thread itself, you'll see where you can mark it as solved. :)

    Peace...
