I have a problem involving a USB wifi adapter

I got a USB Wifi adapter (Model TL-WN821N) and it won't find any networks, I've gone through my pc and it says its working but refuses to find my modem
any help will be amazing
I also have this problem, if someone has a solution, please tell me

Hi, and welcome to TSG.

The TL-WN821N only supports 2.4 GHz band operation. Have you confirmed that your modem supports 2.4 GHz operation and that it is enabled?

Is the modem set to broadcast its SSID on the 2.4 GHz band?

Do you have any other devices that are connecting OK to the modem on the 2.4 GHz band?

depending on model version -

No drivers are provided for 10 but the TP Link adapter should find its drivers on windows 10
They are not on the TP Link site
