I have installed the QuickTime Alternative which also put Media Player Classic on my computer. I also want to install the Real Alternative, but the download also includes Media Player Classic. I don't need the player installed, since it is already on my computer. How can I install the RealAlternative without reinstalling the Classic Media Player.

Thanks,
Jillian

Why don't you just uninstall the current Media Player Classic and replace it with the new install?

It won't put two copies of Media Player Classic on your PC; just reinstall it over the other copy.

If you look at the options when installing you'll see that there are boxes to check or uncheck; some of them for MPC.

If you already have it installed, then all unchecking the MPC install will only make the install of Real Alternative a couple of seconds faster - time lost posting here! :D
