I'm having a issue with my audio in windows 10.
This is truly a odd problem all my audio except discord is quiet its not discord i uninstalled it to check
i was just using my pc as normal when i woke up turned it on and relised the audio was quiet like 20% quieter
i've try'ed everything even remotely related to audio drivers volume mixer new headset speakers nothing its been like this for 3 days now its it is the most annoying thing in the world its like having your audio set at 40% all the time.

    Sincerely:James

EDIT:now chrome is messed up the audio works when i first start it up on a window then if i open a new window it has no audio and if i refresh it has no audio this is the most annoying thing in the world.

    Hi James.

I HIGHLY encourage you to edit your post and remove your email address to keep from getting a bunch of spam emails from bots. We try to encourage only forum assistance here for that reason.

As for the audio, is this from both front speaker ports and rear speaker ports?

When you reinstalled the drivers it made NO CHANGE at all?

Is the audio an onboard chip or a separate sound card
Please send the make and model of the computer if branded eg Dell Hp etc
and send a paste of the system information utility
Open the app and copy the info in the box and then paste to your reply

re the email address I have already asked for it to be removed by a system admin or Mod.
However if you are back on the topic delete it yourself

I've deleted your email address. You should never post it on a publich message board as it will get harvested by spammers and all assistance is to be done here on the boards and not behind the scenes.

I've also moved your thread to the Hardware forum. Random Discussion is not meant for technical assistance.

    Cheers
    Good luck with it

VoiceMod and Discord are too interruptive of the normal computer audio trouble shooting to easily determine the problem
I suggest you uninstall them both and then see how it is.

I did not think it necessarily was - but troubleshooting it with those installed just makes life difficult from a helpers standpoint
What is the audio output device - speakers or headphones
