I have a asus laptop win10- i7 7700 and gtx 1050 16gb ram So i was playing a warthunder(a steam covered online videogame) then suddenly my fps dropped from 60 to 12 to 30. And i found my windows slow too. Check my cpu and the tj max was 100. So i cleaned the fan and changed the thermal paste. Also changed my windows too. After that my fps came back to normal and the heat never went over 68. But adobe premire 2020 pro that i've been using for two months with no problems is laggy and slow also the windows is slow too. So remember we tested the cpu 4 times. Gpu 3 times. Ram once. Changed windows (enterprise) and still have no idea why the windows and premier pro 2020 is slow.

A system which was cleared of dust and CPU pasted also deserves considering OS reinstall.
Slow performance is hard to diagnose and reformat can get rid of many problems.
Just make sure to backup your data.

To confirm, you are using Windows 10 Enterprise on a personal machine?

16 GB of RAM

If these are the specs for your ASUS (unknown model number) laptop, it should not be running and performing slow.
How does it run when you're not gaming or using Adobe Premiere 2020?
Please answer the question in post #3.
