OK I did it, I opened a file I should not have, and now I am paying the price. I have trojans.
Specifically BackDoor-CVT, VunDo, and Generic Downloader.ab

I have been trying for several days to rid myself of these pests, but I am missing something as they keep coming back. Here is my HJT log, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Save KillBox to your Desktop

Run HijackThis and click Do a system scan only
Put a checkmark next to each of the following entries that appear:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [acd90df9.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\acd90df9.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [c9fa6db2.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Andy.2MORROWSKIDS\Local Settings\Application Data\c9fa6db2.exe

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: pmnmkif - pmnmkif.dll (file missing)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: winubg32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winubg32.dll

Click Fix Checked and exit HijackThis

Run KillBox and select Delete on Reboot
Copy this list of file locations to your clipboard:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Andy.2MORROWSKIDS\Local Settings\Application Data\acd90df9.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winubg32.dll
Go to File>>Paste from clipboard. Click All Files
Press the button with a red circle with an X in it, then Yes when prompted to restart your computer
WARNING: Your computer will be restarted. Any unsaved work in open applications will be lost.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I followed your suggestions. My machine hung on shut down I had to power it off manually.

At reboot Windows Defender found a "Possible Hosts File Hijack" I had it clean the file.

I then ran a quick scan, with a clean result.

Ran WebRoot Spy Sweeper it says I am clean.

But McAfee popped up with BackDoor-CVT again in A0072077.dll says that it deleted the file.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your Desktop
Double-click VundoFix.exe and click the Scan for Vundo button
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button. Click Yes when prompted to remove the files found
Your Desktop may go blank for a moment. Click OK when prompted to shut down your computer
    Turn your computer back on
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt along with a new HijackThis log
