Hiya have you internet access,if so enter device manager and scroll down list to audio, there will be a yellow ! at the side,right-click on this and select update drivers
Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I have tried the option to update the drivers, but I dont see any reaction like it is connecting to internet or some pop-up come out...
Note that if you are running Windows XP with SP3, look in Device Manager under System devices. If it shows Microsoft UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) driver already installed, disable and then uninstall it before installing the driver from Realtek.
In this case pcidatabase.com leads to wrong information (it does that sometimes). If you click the link I provided and accept the license agreement it should lead you to a page for downloading version R2.57 "High Definition Audio Codecs". Do you see that on the website?
If that doesn't work go to the main Realtek homepage: http://www.realtek.com.tw/Default.aspx and click "HD Audio Codec Driver" under "Quick Links". Accept the license agreement and see if that leads to the download page.
