    well, the 70's had awesome music but I always thought the 50's would have been a nice time to live in. Just because thats when my parents grew up. :)

    I embrace all that we have learned and the strides we have made in Science ect.

    PCs alone and the web is argument enough for me to embrace the NOW with open arms

    Besides, those old disco clothes would not fit me anymore!

    -Fanstatic hamburger joints that didn't have gold arches over them

    -Tricky Dick

    -No VCR's: movie played for months if they were popular

    -Canadian "stubby" beer bottles

    -Canadian beer "only" in Canada!

    -Didn't have a computer but had a Harley

    -carefree air travel

    -invisible Canadian/American border

    -liveable wages

    -no rap

    -8 tracks!

    -no AIDS

    -no "terrorism" driven police state

    -no school kids knifing and gunning each other down

    -no SUV's
