(I hope I'm in the right forum for this one.)
Anyway, awhile back I was going down a list of "tips, tricks, tweeks" for Windows XP and what I thought I was adding was a different boot-up screen, what I got is every time the computer boots up it displays Norton program files page. (Something I probably had open at the time.)
I'm pretty sure it was something I changed in regedit/hkey_local_user or hkey_local_machine.
If someone knows what I'm talking about, I could really use some help on this one!

Wonder how you changed this, since the boot screen logos are stored as a resource in the NTOSKRNL.EXE file. You can copy NTOSKRNL.EXE off of the installation CD onto the %systemroot%/system32 directory.

Another way would be to do a Repair Install of XP, booting from your XP cd..
