I need a mouse recommendation

Currently have a Logitech M310 mouse. Even with fresh battery , if I want to right click to copy and paste , sometimes it takes 3 tries to keep the menu box open. I have gone to Logitech's website for the antenna matching and firmware software. It helped for a while but the issue has returned. Plus this is my second M310 and the antenna has to be a foot away otherwise the reaction and activity is sporadic.

Any suggestions?

I've used Logitech M310 wireless mice for years with good success, and am using one right now.
One thing that helps with maintaining a good signal is to plug the receiver unit into a USB extender cable instead of plugging it directly into one of the USB ports of the PC.
That allows the receiver unit to be positioned to where it's close to the mouse and away from any signal interference.

I've gone back and reconnected my USB port on my desk so now the antenna is about a foot away. Thanks!

I didn't know if you're using that Logitech M310 wireless mouse with a laptop or a desktop PC, so I assumed it's a desktop PC.

I'm not sure what "antenna" you're referring to.

Update,

even with the receiver a foot away , the right click menu still keeps closing when I attempt to:

Copy/paste

or

Create a new folder

I've done several "copy and paste" and "create a new folder" commands with my Logitech M310 wireless mouse this morning, and it's worked fine.

I'm not there, so I don't know why you're having that issue with yours.

I think I found the issue. I use a commercial cloud based service and it seems to happen with in that.

I'll get with them , thanks!!

I've never used a cloud-based service, so I can't comment on them.

Has anyone faced a situation when you want to use the context menu and it keeps closing? It's beyond annoying.

If you're thinking mouse, I have the Logitech M310, with a fresh battery, recently re-paired and up to date firmware. Plus the mouse receiver is a foot away from the mouse

Thanks for any insight!

I've merged your new thead with the existing one. Please do not start more than one thread for the same issue. Thanks for understanding.
