I have ADSL and my ip changes everytime I connect so having a server that has a different ip address is garbage. Where can I get a static ip address from, for free? I am running Xitami.

Assuming you have a domain name, you can use ZoneEdit. Just sign up for a free account and then contact whomever you registered your domain with to change the DNS servers to the ones ZoneEdit assigned you.
You just need to download a dynamic DNS client to update ZoneEdit with your current IP address so anyone accessing your domain name will always be pointed to the correct IP address.

See <a href="http://www.zoneedit.com/doc/dynamic.html">here</a> for more information.

We use ZoneEdit as our business's main DNS server as well as the feature I described above for our backup mail server which just sits on someone's home pc.
