I need Help with My net Book!

Hello, I Bought a Net Book from Toshiba a while ago, (like in July or August) and It is aready acting up, verry recently the screen started flashing or going up and down or like turn greyish and the colors distort! what should i do?

Go to Control Panel - Device Manager.

Click the + in Display Adapters

What's the description listed there?

Double-click that description to bring up its properties window.

Click the "Driver" tab.

What's the driver date and driver version listed there?

What's the complete model number of that Toshiba NB505?

There should be a dash and some additional characters after NB505.

Here is a list of NB505 model numbers that may help you.

Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
Version:8.14.10.2117
Date: 4/19/2010
Go here, then refine the search by "Windows 7(32-bit) - Driver".

You will see "Intel Display Driver", version 8.14.10.2330, dated 05/31/2011.

Click that link, then click the red "Download Now" button to download and SAVE the file.

After it's been downloaded and saved, close all open windows.

Double-click the saved file to start the install process.

Restart your netbook, if prompted to.

I followed All your Directions, but its still doing it should i try to bring it back? I dont know if I have a warrenty its been 2-3 months since i bought it!:confused: If i cant return it what do i do (I got it at Best Buy)

I haven't bought any computer equipment from "Best Buy" since 2006, so I don't know what their return and warranty policy currently is.

By all means bring it back if you've only had it for 2 - 3 months. It's my guess the "Geek Squad" will attempt to revert it back to its original factory condition - if there isn't a hardware issue that prevents that.
