Hi everyone, my operating system is Windows XP. I've been trying to do a system restore, everything goes well until my computer reboots. That's when a message appears telling me that Windows couldn't do anything, that I should use another restore point. I've done that around 10 times with different restore points and none seems to work. About two months ago I did a system recovery and since then I haven't been using my system restore. I don't know what is the problem. Please help me!!! :(

try deleting all the system restore points and then switch off system restore.

turn system restore back on and create a restore point and see if that helps

Thank you for your help, but I don't know how to do any of the things you suggest. I'm so sorry, but thanks again for taking the time to help me.

click start > right click my computer > click properties > click system restore tab > click turn off system restore on all drives.

confirm you want to delete all the restore points.

after all the points have been deleted switch system restore back on.

    To create a restore point:

click start > all programs > click accessories > system tools > system restore

just click on create restore point and follow the instructions from there
