I was wondering, I am thinking about selling my old computer and was trying to figure a good price. Here are my specs:

    This is a compaq sr1500nx
    •1.8 ghz amd sempron processor
    •1.25 gb of ram
    •80 gb hard drive
    •nvidia quadro4 700 xgl (64mb) graphics card
    •cd burner and DVD reader
    •with keyboard and mouse
    •20" asus LCD moniter
•running ubuntu 9.10 (I can also install windows xp)
    •9 slot card reader
•VGA dvi svideo output on the graphics card. VGA on the motherboard
•7 USB, two ps/2, serial, and the pink one whose name escapes me
•the audio in, out, and the blue one whose name escapes me.

Can you give me seperate estimates on
A: only the tower and mouse and keyboard
B: tower plus moniter, mouse and keyboard
C: tower plus moniter, and logitech ls21 speakers, mouse and keyboard

    Please respond ;)

I'm sure this is going to insult you, but, the whole kit and caboodle might fetch you $150 - $200.....IF THAT.

Current accounting rules let a business completely depreciate a system in the first year of ownership. Your monitor might be worth $25, but the specs on the rest of the system make the hardware essentially worthless.
