I have a fast computer, fast connection (Extreme Speed), no virus or anything, powerful and blah blah blah PC. I only lack at 2 things....

    RAM and VideoCard.

I have 256 RAM and a cheap video card (Rated like 2 on 6 probably like 30$ wise XD).

If I play a game and it goes all well but sometime when there is too much people on screen it lags me out/freeze, is it RAM or Video Card?

It can be RAM because when i'm in the game i'm almost at RAM limit. It could be Video Card because when I change from poor Graphic to Best Graphic, it lags me also. But that could also due because it takes more RAM. When music is open, the game lags even more. Anyway the point is...

I only can buy one of the 2.
1 GIG Ram or a Video Card.

Discuss what you think I should get to get better gaming experience.

Well m8 sorry to say this but todays games require you to have at least 1gig of ram (even if it runs at low speeds) and also a good gpu .:( (y)

I would go for a mid rage gpu and some ram as well try to balance it out if you have a tight budget

    hoped i help a little

buying only 1 of those two doen't help very much because most modern games(especially RTS games) needs some decent RAM(at least 512mb or 1gb) and a good video card. could u post ur budget so that we can help u further?

By the way, long loading times and lag when there are a lot of objects on-screen are caused by RAM. lag when u crank up the graphic settings are caused by the video card.

    It's not a modern game, it's like 2D.

    The minimal setting are

Celeron 500 Mhz, I have Intel Celeron D335, 2800 Mhz
Ram 64MB, I have 256 MB (256 is not enough for me)
    300MB Space Needed, I have 152588 MB
Windows ME,98,2K or XP, I have XP Servise Pack 2.
3D Acceleration Card, I have it. (My video cars is only 96 MB thought)
No sound device required. I have one.
56kbps connection Modem required. I'm on Cable Extreme Speed.

    Here you go. :p

Would you say it's RAM or Video Card related?

maybe if you give these guys your specs. and what kind of video card you have. and how much you can spend. they might be able to come up with a combinations of the two for you in your price range. just maybe. you never know. but i would think of trying to get enough money for both upgrades.
