i need to disable onboard video card

    I own a gateway system with a celeron 400mhz,128mb ram,and a ATI Rage 128(not Pro).I want badly to upgrade my video card but the rage 128 is intergrated into my mobo.Can anyone help me please??

    On bootup there will be a message to enter your bios. In your bios look for a video option that will allow you to disable your on board video. On the reboot, turn it off and install your new card.

    If that doesnt work, check out your user manual, sometimes theres a jumper on the board to disable onboard equipment.:D
