ok hi and please help me . i have a computer by Everex w/ amd athlon 850 and 128 megs of ram. i need to reset the programs back to the way they were from the factory i am running windows me and i know this can be done but i dont know how . it is like a system backup that was done when the computer was first loaded i have two harddrives one small and it is where the original programs were installed i think and i work off the bigger drive . i am not wanting to use the system restore thing i dont think i want to reset the computer to like it was set up in the beginning. i am totally illiterate about computers but i did get someone to do this once before but he is no longer available. PLEASE say u can help me i am going crazy.i must reiterate i am not talking of how to reset using the system restore . I ahve already tried system restore and it dont go back far enough to get b4 the problem software was entered.
perhaps i can do it with the use of the start up disk???or through msconfig?????? please advise
