I got an old IBM 600 Laptop from a friend who didn't want it anymore with a Pentium II 266 mhz processor running windows XP on it. Despite already having a new laptop that I am currently using, I was wondering if I could give this one a boost in performance just out of curiousity in seeing how much I can really overclock this machine. Any tips on how I can do this? Thanks

Old laptops with the pentium and pentium 2 prcessors like that
usually used jumpers on the motherboard to set the multiplier
    and front side bus frequency.
I don't remember them even being overclockable, but do remember
having problems trying to get one to boot while trying to find
the proper configuration for the processor I was using.
In any case,it would take taking the laptop apart to even try.
