I'm still working on looking for an IBM keyboard on ebay. In the meantime, I've spotted a couple of modular keyboards (keyboards with, what looks like, phone connectors). I'm guessing that those types of keyboards were used with servers or "hard core" computer enthusiasts. However, I got to thinking: What would it take to get a modular keyboard working with a USB port? The average phone connector uses between 2 and 4 pins, like USB. So, is there a modular to USB adapter out there? If not, does anyone know of any schematics to make one? I'm game enough to bid on a modular keyboard; but, only if I have a good enough chance to retrofit it into a USB device.
