    Help please!

I brought home the laptop I use at work. I am trying to login to my employer's VPN network. For some reason the keyboard keys that share letters and numbers (for example, o is also 6, K is also 5 etc) will only type numbers. I cannot get letters when I type those keys, so I cannot login with my password,
What am I doing wrong? I don't think I changed any configurations so why can I not get letters from these keys?

look for a blue f or "function" key. When pressed, you can toggle your NUMLOCK and SCROLLLOCK. SO, you will probably want to turn the NUMLOCK OFF, so you can type letters?
I hope this be sufficient help for you? :)
