My friend copied her videos and photos to the iCloud. Everything copied except an 8 month period of videos and of course her mothers funeral video was in that time period. Anyone know why this may have happened and how to get to the lost videos without going to a professional for retrieval? No hidden files folders are showing and no reason as to why in the middle of these videos a chunk were not copied. There is plenty of space.

    Try copying them again?

They shouldn't be "lost" unless you made a typo, as you stated she copied the "videos and photos to the iCloud." So whether the files are on the iCloud or not, they should still be present on the device from which they were copied. Unless they were deleted with checking to see if they are copied properly. In which case, they are likely gone.
