iCloud: I don't use Outlook- can I change settings?

    I Googled this and couldn't find how to do it, though it must be simple. iCloud insists on syncing with Outlook, which I haven't used in 15 years. This just occurred when I tried to set it to automatically backup photos, etc. iCloud offers options for photos, options, bookmarks, etc, where you can change preferences. For photos, it says "Mail, contacts, calendar, tasks with Outlook." No other option. I appreciate any help.

    Sorry! PC w/Windows 7......but won't iCloud work on all my devices? (I also have a Windows 10 Lenovo laptop and an Android Samsung S9+.)
