On some of my news videos an icon that says Adobe Flash Player Settings, local storage, Requesting permission to store information on my computer appears and I can not get rid of it. Any suggestions? I have run Panda Cloud, McAfee and even Panda Anti Virus but to no avail.

It is more than likely the standard request from some websites to use storage space on your hard drive for their details etc to enable quicker access next time you visit
You should of course always be careful about who you are allowing to do so.
As here

Also please see this and side margin entries for full explanations

Control panel - flash player and on the small window of the flash player settings as per my screenshot

I get this occasionally, especially on a site where I am watching a webcam of a pair of Eagles in Decorah Iowa. Of course, this is on a computer running Windows 7, not XP.

I've discovered that I have to watch the status bar at the bottom. While it contains to load things, clicking the allow button does nothing and the box remains.

Tonight it took at least a minute for me to get rid of the box.
