Could anybody explain to me, please, why additional icons appear on my desktop after opening a Word document? The first one, with ~$.doc shows up after clicking the main document to open it and after that, every time when I add something to the document and click SAVE, new icon shows up on my desktop. When I open the ~$.doc, it opens with the exact text I wrote but after a few seconds changes its format. This time instead of my text I have my name in it although I didn't include my name in the text I had written, and mostly boxes. The next icons have different appearance, they are, seems to me, the TEMP files, but the problem I am having is that after a while I have TWENTY of them. They show up every-time I click SAVE.
When I close the document, all of the icons disappear. Until next opening.
I have removed the WORD from my computer and reinstalled it but it didn't help.
    Thank you for your time.
