I have been approached with an offer to purchase a COA sticker which says 'Windows XP Professional. IBM Corporation' and then 2 other numbers along with the product key. I'm assured that the machine it came off has been scrapped

My question is how will I know which version of Windows XP Pro this refers to and therefore which disc to use to install it? For example, will it refer to the OEM or to the upgrade, etc? Does it even matter as this is for a spare machine I'm putting together as a back up. Also, will it install ok?

    Thanks, Stephen
