I had to reformat the other day and now I keep getting an "Identity Switch Cancelled" message when I try to open Outlook Express. I haven't been able to get into it since I reformatted, so I can't figure why it has that message. I am using Win 2000, Any ideas? Please.....

Identity switch cancelled
The current identity could not be changed because one of the applications was unable to switch. Close any open dialog boxes in other applications before trying again.

Thanks for the help, Eddie! I have to work myself up to mess with the registry! I'm not that confident in my abilities! :D

I was unable to get the registry fix to work. So just for a long shot I right clicked on the OE shortcut and went into properties. In the shortcut tab I checked the box for "Run as different user." This enabled me to open the program with a sign in box, all I do is hit ok without entering a password.

Thanks Eddie for your help, I may need it again sometime. ;)
