If you haven't run an updated antivirus scan, you should. An online scan can be done here:

    http://housecall.antivirus.com/pc_housecall/

The second thing to do is to remove hidden "spyware". This is one of the most common causes of errors and freezes in IE. Installing and running Ad-Aware from Lavasoft will do this.

Be sure to read the FAQ and "getting started" pages before running it.

After having done these measures, if you continue to get errors, click on the "details" tab and tell us what modules and error address is mentioned.

Have you tried the I/E repair tool ? Go to add remove programs in control panel, select Internet Explorer, click add /remove tab, when you do this a dialog box will pop up asking if you want to run repair tool for I/E , select yes and see if that fixes your problem...Rhett
