IE 6.0 So Slow

    G'day,

    I am using win xp home edition, for some reason IE 6.0 is super slow opening pages, etc., I have the Highest DSL Speed Sprint can provide, I contacted their support, and they ran speed test and line tests and said there were no problems with my ISP Can anyone please tell me how I can speed up/tweek my Browser?

    Quick Shot....
    Scanners that are installed: antivirus,anti-spyware,Etc. can slow your browser down.
    Some firewalls can slow browsers down.
    Disable each one at a time to see if your browser is faster, noting which one slows down browser. "If" this is the case then consider another scanner or firewall.
    There is a possiblity of virus,trojan and spyware which also can slow down browsers.

    I use Zone Labs Firewall, And AVG Anti-Virus

    Try running through steps 1, 2 and 8 here and see if you notice a difference.
