It's a AdvancedTab restriction, and you'll find it in either or both of the following Registry subkeys:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

Go to Start > Run > Regedit, navigate to the above Registry keys, and delete the SecurityTab DWORD value you'll find there.

Or go to Edit > Find/Search, and do a keyword search for a AdvancedTab value. If you find one, delete it.

In fact, if you find Control Panel Subkeys (Subfolders) at those particular locations, it's always safe to delete them in their entirety, as they aren't there by default, and only serve for the purpose of setting restrictions.

NOTE: Before editing the Registry, ALWAYS back it up, or alternatively, in the case of Win ME or XP, create a Restore Point.

    Cheers,

Isn't that similar to restrictions in Spybot? Immunize button?
If you have Spybot, you may want to see if you put a check mark there.

No, those are "Homepage" and "NoBrowserOptions" restrictions.

The AdvancedTab restriction is related, but can't be implemented or removed using SpyBot.

As expected, Tony, you are right.
I posted first, when I should have experimented first. When I experimented, I got locked out of TOOLS completely. Then couldn't undo my experiment. Finally, back to normal.
