I am recieving the same error on several Windows 2000 machines, all have IE 6 installed with all service packs and updates. The error is Internet Explorer has caused encountered an error and must close, Event ID:1000, Module: mshtml.dll. It shuts down all Internet Explorer windows which is causing a huge problem for the agents in the call center. Does anyone know the cause of this error? I've checked the RAM, tried reregistering the dll file, scanned it for viruses & spyware, removed the 3rd party browser options, etc...but nothing seems to be working.

Anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
