IE 6 "Page Cannot be displayed"

    WinME , all the updates been done.....DSL.....

    I can get most pages but there are times when I cannot get some pages.....I know that they are up cuz I went next door to my neighbors and brougt the page up on her computer. It's IE 6. .....I just refomatted and I had this problem before but do not remember the fix for it. I like IE 6 and do not want to go to another browser......I know there is a fix for it....but do to my ole age and memory loss, have forgotten how I fixed it before.

    Do you remember going to Tools > Internet Options and clicking on Privacy and lowering the setting??

    If not that perhaps, Internet Options , Connections and Lan Settings and removing a Proxy??
