I was having blue screens when I used IE to load web pages. Some times it would work fine and then stop and others it would stop at first try. After months of trying to repair the problem I was ready to reload all the programs and Windows.
Before I started I thought deleting all the programs that I was not using would make the reload faster. When I deleted Norton Security 2000 which had been unused for several years all the IE problems went away.
Thanks to the members of this forum on guidance I found the correct method to remove Norton.
Again Thanks and I hope this information might help somebody else.
