IE 6 SP1 freeze

    Hi

    My IE 6 SP1 freeze when i hit enter or click search btn. What causes it and how to resolve?

    IS firefox more stable than IE?

    Your other posts mention Back door Trojan.
    What Anti-virus and Spyware programs do you have installed?
    At the moment IE is more open to Virus and other attacks.

    Hi

    Using Avast Home antivirus and SpywareDoctor but to no help. IE still hang and freezes. Are all the IE in the world freezes too. what actually causes this and how to resolve it?

    Will firefox or netscape also freezes?

    If this computer is running Windows XP, you need to install Service Pack 2. It applies security patches that prevent malware infections.

    OS is win2k Sp4 still IE hang and freezes when hit enter. No virus or spyware seem to be found.

    IEFix don't work!

    Firefox able to run but IE 6 still hang when hit enter? What actually causes this? Even reinstall win2k OS to no avail.
