IS there a way to tell IE not to bring up all the pages you have visited when you go to type in a new address?

    example
start to type www and it shows you a list of all the www you have been to.

Any way to clear all that junk or stop it from taking hold?

Go to tools>internet options>general tab>clear history. Then go to content tab>autocomplete>uncheck the web addresses box.
