ie all messed up

    ok here it is
    :rolleyes:

    i have afriends notebook and he calls me ovr to tell me his internet is running funny. it brings up some pages but not others... so i go over and run spybot search and destroy and ad aware and remove a few small spywares

    then i go and clean out his temp folders and delete all offline files and cookies

    still no joy, i can ping for example google.com but it wont dispaly, same with yahoo.com but msn dispalys ...

    so i remove ie and sp2 adn reinstall.. and still same problems,

    i have firfox runing on his system and it brings up everything ...
